Fall Curb Appeal
warm & cozy
When it comes to fall curb appeal, pumpkins really are the ultimate champ. I mean, they’re a staple for a reason - festive and fun and totally gourd-geous. (No, I will not apologize for that pun.) But with the bounty of pumpkin possibilities these days - what should you do with your front door decor? All white? Maybe add in some squashes? What about ombre? Here are some ideas on how to land the perfect landing this fall season.
Classic fall pumpkins
We’ll start with the classic options - all orange or a mix of colors. Try adding in some crunchy leaves (real or faux), and maybe some vines and twigs or other greenery. Then you’ll want to pile on the texture. Go for galvanized metal pots or dark patinaed urns. After that, you can plant some seasonally appropriate plants or keep your year round plants in place, but add in some dry moss to add to the fall look. And of course a neutral doormat ties it all together.
Trying something new
But what if you want to get a little more wild and try something crazy? If you stick to all white or muted tones, you can totally pull off a super chic seasonal presence that will definitely make your neighbors do a double take (in a good way). Tuck in some white flowers in between your pumpkins and you’re good to go.

Another option for those with an eye for color is to go ombre. This look works especially well for those with decently spacious front steps. Start with the darkest pumpkins you can get your hands on and work your way up, steadily adding in more desaturated gourds, ending with some super pale and white options. Ombre is your chance to play with lots of varieties of pumpkins to achieve your desired effect.
